How it works

  • Buy a Gift Membership for someone you know and a unique reference will be issued for your recipient to redeem themselves against 12 months of Wooden Spoon Membership
  • You can also choose if the gift membership pack is to be sent to you or sent directly to the recipient with a personalised message.
  • The recipient will need to activate their Gift Membership themselves and further details will be provided in the membership pack
  • For delivery in time for Christmas, please order at the latest by 15th December 2025

  • Gift Option choices subject to availability – gift choices for selection at purchasing point may be changed if stock availability becomes reduced; or we may contact you to check about supplying an alternative, should the gift option you selected at purchase be no longer available, so we can get the Gift Membership Pack to you or your Gift Recipient in time for Christmas. 

Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of rugby. We are a grant-making charity and fund life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland. In the last year, through the 89 projects we've been able to fund, our members have helped us support children and young people living with disabilities and facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland.

However, there are 11% of children in the UK living with a disability and 30% of children in the UK living in poverty. And currently, we can only approve approximately 1 in 10 of the project applications that we receive.
